Creole Sauce can be used as a topping for enchiladas, eggs, pizzas, or an amazing addition to a shrimp and grits recipe.

Ingredients

2 Cups diced white onion

2 Cups diced green pepper

¼ Cup garlic chopped

½ pound bacon chopped

1 Cup diced celery

1 jalepeno diced

6 Cups plum tomatoes , broken up into pieces

3 Tbls blackening seasoning

1 Cup water
-
1 Cup Tabanero Hot Sauce
Directions

In a medium sized stock pot on medium heat add bacon and sauté until crispy

Add onion, bell pepper, jalepeno , garlic , and celery

Cook until soft on medium heat

Add blackening seasoning and toast spices for 3 minutes

Add plum tomatoes and simmer for 5 minutes

Add water and Tabanero and simmer for 45 minutes on low heat.
