Yield: 16 servings
INGREDIENTS
- 1/4 teaspoon of salt
- 1 teaspoon of crushed red pepper
- 2 teaspoons of hot paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon of cayenne pepper
- 5 pounds of fresh chicken wings
- 4 teaspoons of baking powder
- 2 cups of Tabañero Original Hot Sauce
- 1 tablespoon of Tabañero XXX Hot Sauce
INSTRUCTIONS
Preheat the oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit.
Combine the salt, red pepper, hot paprika, and cayenne pepper in a bowl. Pat the chicken wings dry with a paper towel and coat them with baking powder. Sprinkle with the seasoning mix until evenly distributed.
Line the chicken wings on a parchment-lined baking sheet, place them in the oven, and bake for 20 minutes. Remove them from the oven, flip them, and bake for another 25 minutes.
When done, place the wings in a large bowl. Pour the Tabañero Original and XXX Hot Sauce over the wings and toss to coat evenly. Place the wings back on the parchment-paper-lined baking sheet and bake for another seven minutes.
Remove the wings and let them cool for a few minutes. Serve with ranch and celery.
